Mark White, Corum Group
Mark White joined Corum in Singapore following a 30 plus year career in the software, IT and telecommunications industries throughout the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to regional leadership roles with Red Hat, Compaq and Tandem Computers, Mark has founded several technology companies, successfully selling his telecommunications software business in 2018. With a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, Mark has led or mentored several early stage technology commercialization successes from one of Australia’s largest universities, the largest of which ultimately raised over US$45 million in venture funding. Mark earned his Computer Science Degree from the University of Queensland.
Shawn Weir, Corum Group
Shawn has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership in the technology sector. Over the years he acquired three companies and successfully sold two. Shawn’s first exit was in 2016 selling AEC / BIM Management Consulting company PDC BIM Consulting to US based DBM Global (forming part of DBM Vircon). As Co-founder and CEO, he spearheaded the commercialization and global growth of iConstruct, an industry leading BIM and Digital Engineering application, revolutionizing construction and asset management through seamless integration of intelligent 3D models throughout the Project Asset Lifecycle. iConstruct is used by over 400 of the largest EPCs, General Contractors and owners across the commercial, infrastructure and industrial sectors globally. iConstruct sold to Swedish based company Hexagon AB in 2022. Shawn also led the scale out of Capital Project HRM Solution Insite Logistics, since sold to Australian based listed company Kinatico. Shawn is a passionate supporter of tech start up ecosystem and continues to be an advisor and investor.
Lee Trevena, Corum Group
Lee Trevena is an experienced senior executive with a more than thirty-year career starting, growing and running services firms, technology companies and corporate business units. Initially, after completing his studies at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Lee returned to his native Australia and embarked on a successful career in Commercial and Corporate Real Estate. After more than a decade representing major real estate services companies, landlords and major tenants, Lee founded his first professional services company in Melbourne, Australia – TCM Consulting. As a result of his real estate experience and extensive work with National and International clients Lee identified a market opportunity for a cloud-based real estate management solution designed specifically for retail and corporate tenants, then founding LeaseEagle in 2004. Over nearly twenty years, alongside other smaller business ventures, Lee led LeaseEagle as CEO through numerous growth stages and investment rounds, before successfully exiting the company in 2022 to MRI Software, in Ohio, as a client of Corum Group.
Irene Cortez, Corum Group
Irene joined Corum in March 2022 as a Marketing Research Analyst. Prior to joining Corum, she served for six years as an investment analyst in a multinational enterprise and two hedge fund management firms in Mexico and Spain. Her experience focuses on project valuation, market studies, due diligence and financing processes to determine suitable investment strategies. Irene holds a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the Pompeu Fabra University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management by the Autonoma de Nuevo Leon University.
